Do you move after hours?
Yes. At the Moving Company Inc, we are flexible and work with our customer’s schedule to ensure a smooth move. Our typical hours of operation are between 7am and 7pm but we can always discuss options
How far in advance should I make my booking ?
It is always wise to make your booking at least one month in advance of the moving date. This will allow us to make the necessary preparations and avoid any inconveniences. A month is just a suggestion . Feel free to plan with us 6 months in advance if you want to
Do you dismantle and assemble furniture?
YES. Our professional team can help with furniture dismantling and reassembly. We help with bed frames, headboards, shelving, desks and other standard residential and commercial furniture items
What if it rains on the moving day?
Our teams work in all weather conditions. We will take extra care in moving you on a rainy day
How long does it take to move?
This depends on many factors, such as weather conditions, size of your home, time required to load and unload, parking, and distance travelled.
Our professional movers work efficiently to make sure that we spend as little time moving as possible
What should I do with my pets on moving day?
We ask our clients to arrange for someone to look after their pets while the move is ongoing. You can have a relative look after them for the day. For the safety of our movers and your pets, we ask that pets be safely contained or removed while moving is in progress
Do you provide packers?
At the Moving Company Inc. we know that packing plays a very crucial role in keeping your valued possessions free from damage. We have professional packers who can take the burden and stress of packing off your shoulders
Methods of payment
Payments can be made by VISA or Mastercard, email transfers or cash
Do you offers discounted rates?
Fridays and Saturdays are very busy moving days. As an incentive to move mid-week we have lower rates Monday to Thursdays. Mid-month moves are also offered at lower rates.
We usually have some discounts or options to lower your quote. Ask your moving coordinator for advice on how to further reduce your costs, such as being flexible with your move dates.
We offer 10% discount to all seniors 65years and older
Can your team organize cleaning?
We have a team that can come in and clean up after the move and they are available upon request. Speak to your coordinator for rates
Do you supply moving boxes?
Our team can supply moving boxes in advance. Talk to your moving coordinator and they can go through the box packages we offer. Once you select the one that works, it can be dropped off in advance together with other packing supplies required to safely pack your possessions
Do you do same day services?
Yes. Depending on how busy we are, we can dispatch movers within the hour of being contacted for a move if we have an opening on our schedule
Do you provide on-site consultation?
Yes, we do. In keeping with current COVID protocols, we will ask that everyone wear a mask while we are doing the site visit. If you prefer, we also can do a video consultation
Can the packing to be done on moving day?
We recommend that our professional packing team come in a day before the official moving date and have everything packed up and ready to go. Small moves can be packed the day of the move
